Hope International is a ministry based in the South Island of New Zealand, 45 minutes from Christchurch. Evan Sadler is our CEO and Director, Peter Henham is Manager, Maxine Henham is our Secretary and Receptionist, and in the layout department we have Charlie Adams and the Bible School is run by Julie Stuart.
Hope International has been operating twenty three years. We have been able, with the Lord's blessing, to run regular camp meetings, we publish a regular News Letter and a quarterly Sabbath School Lesson.
We, as a ministry, have also been involved in the area of health. We see that a lot of modern illness is being caused by lifestyle. The choices people are making are all too often based on exposure to heavy marketing from food companies who are more interested in profit than good nutrition and the well-being of their customers.
We feel a God-given responsibility to help the public to understand that good health is not generally an accident, but is based on the results of the understanding and following of very solid nutrition principles.
We also see a need for people to understand that our Creator is the only one who can help us deal with so many of the deeper issues of life, like worry, guilt, fear and stress. Jesus said, "come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
One of the greatest principles that we have been given is by Jesus who said, "If you love Me keep My Commandments." John 14:15. So Hope International as a ministry that encourages the keeping of God's Ten Commandments encluding the 4th Commandment regarding the Lord's Sabbath day, as a practice that will bring true peace and happiness to any who wish to follow Jesus' instruction.

The 10 Commandments God's plan for man, and the rule by which he may enjoy peace and happiness. In Isaiah 8:20 we are told, "To the Law and to the Testimony, if they speak not according to this word there is no light in them." It just makes good plain sense that if you live your life according to those simple ten precepts, you will have a happier life. |
| Over the years Hope International has attended many field days and run many programs to help the public better understand the importance of better healthier lifestyle choices. Just recently we attended the Dargaville Show and launched our new Health Newsletter, called the "Kiwi Green, Health Researcher." It was a great success with over 150 people requesting a years free subscription. |
